Hi all, hope all summers are going well.

Got a few competitions for you to take a gander at.

Interested in monsters? well at floorten there is a competition to submit up to five images and a brief probasal for their show. It doesn't have to be your stereotypical monsters so give the page a chance, any interpretation or own definition are accepted too!

Sticker Design! Over at foundapound they are running a sticker competition for awareness of their campaign and the winner(s) also get featured in Creative Boom magazine. The stickers are only small, templates are on the page, and it seems pretty simple, the other examples arn't anything special :P

2. Over hear someones conversation/ take a quote

3. put it up here, don't put the context

4. Illustrate someone else's "quote" (feel free to tweak it to make it fit better if needed)

5. post it up here, make sure you include the quote in the illustration (speech bubble etc)

anyone up for it? If it works it would make a good book/zine/?

Torquay Pride

We got invited back to Gay Torbay this year.. was a little less organised but a HELL of a lot of fun in a big top circus tent. The night was named the 'Big Bang' so here's what happened:

Sorry it's a bit late, just got my scanner up and running.
Faced a big fear of mine - colour - and am pretty damn proud of this (though it looks better in my sketchbook).
